1984 Fought off takeover bid by Hawker Siddley. Purchased Manheim Belting, USA.
1995/6 Five acquisitions including Efson and Nationwide (both USA) and TBA Belting in the UK.
1997 Acquired Scandura Inc. of Charlotte, North Carolina, with manufacturing facilities in Ohio and Canada. Opened Shanghai Fenaplast Conveyor Belting factory in Shanghai.
1998 Sale of the Power Transmission Division.
2000 Sale of the Fluid Power Division.
Sale of Welsh automotive business.
2001 Acquisition of UniPoly (Dunlop) Conveyor Belting.
2004 Established wholly owned conveyor belting factory in India.
2005 Acquisition of Wellington Holdings plc.
2006 Acquisition of EGC in Houston, USA.
2007 Sale of (50%) share of KSB Joint Venture, South Africa New factory opens in Shanghai for Precision Polymers and Advanced Seals. New Dawson Hose factory opens in Shanghai.
B-Loc Corporation acquired in New York, USA.
Spliceline acquired in Darwin, Australia.
New Dunlop conveyor belting manufacturing facility opens in Shanghai.
2008 Fenner acquired Prodesco Inc. in Pennsylvania, USA.
Winfield Industries acquired in Buffalo, New York, USA.
Northern Belting Specialists Pty Ltd. acquired in South Australia.
New EGC-CDI factory opens in Houston, USA.
Fenner acquired King Energy New Mexico and Colorado, USA.
