This National Supply Chain Day, Fenner Precision Polymers proudly celebrates Luke Kessler, whose journey from intern to Senior Supply Chain Planner highlights his dedication to the supply chain field and the power of collaboration and connection in the workplace.

Luke’s role today is integral to Fenner’s operations, involving inventory management, production scheduling, procurement of component materials, and leading key projects such as NinjaTek development and the E1 integration for Lumsden. His daily work with the Eagle team focuses on uncovering efficiency gains and leveraging new technologies to meet evolving customer needs. For Luke, the best part of the job is the collective problem-solving that happens every day—demonstrating that supply chain success is a team effort.

But Luke knows that strong supply chain performance comes from more than just technical expertise; it's about truly understanding the people you work with. Over his four years at Fenner Precision Polymers, he's found that building relationships beyond job roles creates a family-like, collaborative environment where innovation and productivity flourish. Whether leading the 2024 cornhole tournament, participating in company kickball and softball games, or joining his planning team for escape rooms and painting sessions, Luke believes these shared experiences strengthen trust and communication—essential elements in supply chain operations.

Luke's commitment to the field extends beyond Fenner's walls. As a SEPA Chapter of the Association for Supply Chain Management (ASCM) board member, he advocates for professional development and industry growth. His career progression from intern to senior planner is a testament to his determination and the supportive culture at Fenner, where colleagues invest in each other's success.

Luke brings the same energy and passion to his personal interests outside of work. He's a recreational soccer player, avid concert-goer, gamer, runner, and traveler. Recently, he became a new dog dad, adding another joyful connection to his life.

On National Supply Chain Day, Luke's story reminds us that effective supply chains are built by people who care about one another—professionally and personally. His journey reflects Fenner Precision Polymers' belief that when teams feel like family, they achieve remarkable things together.
