Laser Curtain Material

Laser safety curtains offer a flexible way to safely enclose lasers or laser areas in medical settings. Critical Thermal Composites laser curtain material is specifically designed to block radiation from low, medium, and high power lasers. Laser curtains offer a more flexible form of protection than metal blocking, while retaining the strength of traditional metal panels. They also allow for custom configurations, enabling installation flexibility in almost any area.

Commonly used within laser labs and medical facilities, our range of laser curtain material is tested to block different power classes of laser and meets EN12254 requirements.

Material Selection


Our Silicone formulation has been combined with a woven fiberglass reinforcement to offer an optimized combination of flexibility, strength, protection, and weight. Offering low smoke and low toxicity properties, our laser curtain material is highly flame-retardant. The lamp cure finish enables a smooth matte or gloss finish on both sides.
